Species within a genus
For James Bowie (1789-1869),** British botanist and plant collector. He worked at Kew Gardens from 1810 to 1814 when he and Allan Cunningham were chosen by Joseph Banks to collect plants for Kew and sent to Brazil. In 1816 they were ordered to proceed to the Cape. He spent the next seven years there, then was recalled and dismissed.
